Apple Brandy: 1892 | Forever Wild
Gristmill sources freshly pressed apples from nearby Rulfs Orchard, less than thirty-five miles from the distillery. 1892 Apple Brandy distilled twice then aged in new American oak barrels for about six months.
1892 Apple Brandy gets its name form the year the Adirondack State Park was established by the New York State Legislature. The park encompass six million acres and is home to some of the oldest growth forest in the United States. A later amendment to the New York State Constitution in 1894 declared the park ‘forever wild,' as the label reads.
