Quackenbush Original Albany Unaged Rum
Albany's first distillery, The Quackenbush Still House, was established in the mid-18th century was located very close to today's Albany Distilling Company. Quackenbush produced an unaged rum from Caribbean molasses and Hudson River water, fermented with wild yeasts in open wooden vessels. Today, Albany Distilling Company follows the methods of its predecessors, only with better equipment, more sanitary conditions and a clean water source.
Bright tropical notes shine through the rich, earthy flavor of the Caribbean cane, giving way to a long, creamy, butterscotch finish.
