Breuckelen Distilling began crafting gin and whiskey in 2010. All Breuckelen Distilling products are distilled entirely from New York State grains, from scratch, at their 19th Street distillery in Sunset Park, Brooklyn. Breuckelen Distilling whiskey is aged in their warehouse in East New York, Brooklyn.
It takes New York grains to make New York spirits, and New York Farmers to grow New York grains. Thor Oechsner has been farming grains around Newfield, New York since 1994. He grows most of the grains and sources the rest from neighboring New York farms. Thor’s work in the hilly, rocky soil of Newfield makes it possible for Breuckelen Distilling to deliver a true product of New York in every bottle.
