Founded by Leucio Iacobelli, the Montauk Distilling Company is family owned and operated at a small scale and salutes the rich history of the distillation craft with a fresh, new approach. Montauk Distilling Co makes rum from US grown sugar. Near the current site of the distillery, the Montauk beach dunes were a traditional site of rum runners hiding liquor on Long Island. All Montauk Rum Company are bottled and labeled at their facility in Montauk.
