A little more about our story: Dan Lee and Max Fine started West 32 Soju in 2016. After many nights out on West 32nd Street in New York City’s Koreatown, we sought to develop an approachable, high-quality Soju. As we entered our 30s, it became more difficult to recover from the soju hangover. Soju from Korea is made with artificial sweeteners saccharin. After countless trials, we developed a refined recipe for an all-natural, gluten-free Soju. West 32 Soju is our take on the traditional Korean spirit that is true to heritage but with a modern American craft influence. Our soju is distilled and bottled at Yankee Distillers in Clifton Park, NY. West 32 Soju was named New York Soju Producer of the Year at the New York International Spirits Competition in 2017 and 2019. Our Original received a gold medal in 2017 at the same competition.
